Booking & Payment
You can book directly through our website using the availability checker on each room page, or call us on 01769 572514.
Your card details are taken at the time of booking to secure your reservation, but full payment is taken on arrival at check-in.
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron debit cards.
We require at least 48 hours' notice prior to your check-in date to cancel your booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged the full accommodation fee.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is from 3:00pm.
All guests are kindly asked to vacate their rooms by 10:00am Monday - Friday and 11am on Saturday & Sunday (unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking). Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability.
Breakfast
Yes - all bedroom rates at The George include a complimentary breakfast.
Breakfast serving times are Monday - Friday: 7:30am–9:00am and Saturday / Sunday 8:00am–10:00am.
The Hotel

Yes, smoking is not permitted in any rooms or public areas of the hotel.
We welcome dogs to The George. Dogs are charged at £10 per night (we would charge a maximum of £30 for a dogs stay should your stay extend over 3 days).
Yes, children are very welcome. All children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Cots and extra beds are available on request, subject to availability.
