Parking for The George, South Molton be found immediately behind the hotel. Once parked in the walled area of the car park, head to reception to register your vehicle for your stay.


In addition, two large car parks can be found in the centre of South Molton, ‘Central’ and ‘The Cattle Market'. Both car parks can be paid for using the RINGO app. Do contact us for more information about parking for The George.

Booking & Payment
You can book directly through our website using the availability checker on each room page, or call us on 01769 572514.
Your card details are taken at the time of booking to secure your reservation, but full payment is taken on departure at check-out.
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron debit cards.
We require at least 48 hours' notice prior to your check-in date to cancel your booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged the full accommodation fee.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is from 2:00pm on your day of arrival. Rooms secured by card or prepaid will be held until 10:00pm unless otherwise agreed with us directly.
All guests are kindly asked to vacate their rooms by 10:00am on their departure day. Late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.
Breakfast
Yes — all bedroom rates at The George include a complimentary continental and cooked breakfast.
Monday to Friday: in-house guests 7:30am–9:00am, visiting guests 7:30am–10:00am. Saturday and Sunday: in-house guests 8:00am–10:00am, visiting guests 8:00am–11:00am.
The Hotel
Yes, The George has its own car park. Please note that vehicles are parked at the owner's risk.
Yes, smoking is not permitted in any rooms or public areas of the hotel.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets at The George.
Yes, children are very welcome. All children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Cots and extra beds are available on request, subject to availability.
Yes, The George hosts weddings, private events and parties throughout the year. If you'd like to know whether any events coincide with your stay, please contact us in advance.
